XIAMEM XINGMINGJIN specializes in metal sculpture fabrication and exhibition planning. We collaborated with Chinese sculptor Zheng Lu (郑路) at the Korea–China Sculpture Exchange Exhibition in Xiamen.

Kim Sung-bok: Forged Stainless Steel Sculpture
Created by Korean sculptor Kim Sung-bok, this forged stainless steel sculpture was presented at the China–Korea Contemporary Sculpture Exchange Exhibition at Xiamen Airlines in Xiamen, China. Our team was responsible for the sculpture’s fabrication and exhibition planning, working closely with the artist to bring his intended form and expression into physical reality.
The finished work reflects the dedication of the sculptor and the craftspeople who worked alongside him. Shaping the stainless steel demanded sustained physical effort, careful attention, and a shared commitment to the artist’s vision. Its reflective, faceted surface and expansive form reveal the relationship between artistic expression and skilled metal craftsmanship.
Following the exhibition, the sculpture was acquired by a company in India for its collection and permanently installed there. The photographs shown here document the work at the Xiamen exhibition, before its permanent installation in India.
For sculptors, architects, designers, and corporate art teams, this project offers an example of close collaboration between an artist and a sculpture fabrication team—from the making of the work and exhibition planning to its subsequent acquisition for a permanent setting.
